FAQS & Thoughts

FAQS:
Q: How much does health coaching cost?
A: The real question you should be asking yourself is, “Is there a price on life?”.
The answer to this question is easily no. I can only speak on behalf of myself as a
Health Coach, but the education and tools I provide you with are Lifelong.
Whereas other self-care services are short term. A Manicure/Pedicure will chip
and eventually need to be redone. Highlights and hair color, same thing. Clothes
will go out of style; make-up techniques will change. These are all services sought
after to make us feel better about ourselves and boost our confidence. But alas,
they are short term. Treating yourself to self-care through coaching will be long
term and life changing.

Q: Why shouldn’t I just see a Nutritionist instead?
A: While a Nutritionist is certainly a great option if you’re seeking dietary help, my
Health Coaching provides not only dietary help, but also mental and physical
health help as well. This provides an all-encompassing approach to your health. So
while you may think it’s just your diet that needs help, there is usually a mental
and physical relationship with food that you may be unaware of.

Q: Why do I need to learn why?
A: Should you touch a hot stove? The answer is no, but why? You know not to
touch the hot stove because you’ve been taught that it’s hot and you will burn
yourself. Because you understand and know the reasoning behind this, you accept
it. My job is to teach you how your body works and answer all the whys and
how’s. People are generally more receptive to something when they understand
the principles and knowledge behind those choices.

Notes of Importance:
Stress is hiding everywhere. If you’re struggling to reach a healthy weight but are
convinced, you’re “doing everything right”, it’s possible that what you think is right
is NOT right for YOU! Confusing, I know. The field of health and wellness is
constantly changing and being updated through science and research daily, so it is
very easy to get stuck on something that just doesn’t work for you. Your healthy
habits may actually be detrimental to your health goals.
